Does anyone know how much a prostitute costs in Italy? A friend said they were free, but I am skeptical.

Here it is:

"To start i weighed the empty beaker with the balance in grams.
I wrote down the mass of the beaker which was 31grams. After that i attached the buret (buretta in italian) to the stand and closed the little tap at the bottom of the buret. Then I placed the beaker right under the buret to collect the liquids. Then i collected 5mls of each liquids into the beaker and weighed them everytime i collected them. In total i collected 25mls.
To obtain the correct mass of the liquids i subtracted the mass of the beaker from the mass of the liquids and the beaker put together.
Then I calculated the density with the formula d=M/V
using the correct mass of each liquid and their volumes.
Every result I obtained was arranged on a table and then a graph"

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm traveling to Rome for a week and leaving to head back to the States on January 6th. I lived in Rome this summer, however I haven't been during this time of year.. and with the holiday (and it being one of the most important) I wasn't sure if all of the city will shut down. Just curious to know the likelihood of me getting to the airport!! Grazie tutti!!!

Can you translate this note from english to italian?

"Mass and volume are properties of all matter. Density is the ratio of mass divided by volume. The particular density of a specific kind of liquid helps to identify it and distinguish it from other kinds of
liquid. So it is possible to determine the density of liquids in grams."

Thanks in advance..

Hello my husband and I are planning on visiting Italy for about 12 days(feb 09-18). Our tentative plan right now is to visit Venice, Florence, Rome, and Monte Carlo(Maonaco). We plan on being in Venice for the carnival (first 2 days). Can someone please tell me what the weather is going to be like in Feb? reasonable /cheap hostels in these cities? Can we get by speaking only in English? Any tips on do’s and don’t? must see places? Any information to help us see as much as we can in these 10 days? Any idea how much gondola rides cost, i've been told they are expensive?

Thanks in advance

I'm looking for someone who can honestly tell me what's good, what's bad... if Venice really stinks as much as people say it does. =( And also, what are the people like? Are they welcoming to Americans, or are they like the French?

I am confused about the entry requirements to Italy. I will be traveling to Venice next month and will be there for 2-3 days only. Do I still need to complete an application with the local police? (see below) Or,is this just for people who plan on staying for more than 90 days? I've never heard of anyone having to do this before.

ITALY - *Passport required. Visa not required for tourist or business stays up to 90 days. (**90-day period begins when entering Schengen countries). Within eight days upon arrival, visitors are required to register with local police and obtain a permit to stay, regardless of length of visit. Proof of sufficient financial support may be required. For stays longer than 90 days, employment, or study, a visa is required
