I am going to Germany with my brother in March (on the 12th to be exact) and I am not sure what to expect. He is going for a business trip and I'm just tagging along. We are going to be there for about 9 days. We will be in Frankfurt and then we plan on travelling all around Germany. What is the weather going to be like? What is a MUST see? What should I pack?

I am planning a trip to Germany for August of this year. We are staying in Munich and looking into a day trip into the Black Forest to sample local fare and purchase a cuckoo clock. We want to stay away form tourist attractions and follow the less-beaten path. Any ideas on small towns to go to? Distances from Munich? Ect.
Any other great day trips form Munich would also be appreciated! Thanks!

Hello... I am a psychotherapist in private practice in Texas and I direct an adolescent substance abuse residential treatment center as well. I am likely to be offered a clinical position with a defense contractor that provides mental health services for our military families on base there...
