I am thinking of taking a trip to Germany to the black forest.
I would also like to visit Transilvania

how far is the black forest from there and are there any nice hotels?

I am from Malaysia, and planning to visit Germany for 6-7 days during the month of December 2006. I heard a lot about the black forest but, had no idea where to go to see the best of it. Does anyone is helpful enough to advise? If i stay at Wurzburg, Bavaria, is it accessible to the black forest?

I will be travelling through europe in oct/nov. will take a train frm frankfurt at 6 am and get to Freidburg by 9 am...is the day sufficient to see black forest. want to proceed to Basel the next morning
