If not, what are my other banking options? How much extra does it cost to use an American credit card in Paris?

the countries I want to visit is Spain. We all going to make an itinerary of the countries we want to see, the one that can come up with the best ideas and the monies to last the longest, is the one we (the 3 of us) have to follow. Can you help me, and tell me how and if it can be done with that amount of money, are there trains or buses that can take to you from Madrid to France and then to Italy? Then we would take the plane back to Florida from the last country we have visited? Please help me, I want to win. I have never been outside the U.S. except to Mexico and Puerto Rico, which doesn't really count to me. Thank you for your help, that is all the money we have, we each have the same amount.

I am going to take my wife to Paris in a few weeks. Being from NYC, I know that crime can take place pretty much anywhere or anytime. Even though we are fairly street savvy I would love to hear some opinions on places that should be avoided. Thank you in advance.

" a scar on the face of Paris" - Bezu Fache

was it to attract non-traditional art people or perhaps a younger crowd.

I rather think it is an insult to the classic masterpieces that hang on the walls of the museum.....................

We are going in June 2007. We've both wanted to go and are just making a weekend of it to say we've been there. We don't have tons of money so what can anyone recommend for a REALLY quick weekend getaway? Hotels? A little bistro that has great pastries and coffee. We aren't getting a car so I need things we can walk to.

Although I'd love to see the Louvre I know we won't have the time. Any other suggestions?

Also, any travel agencies that put together cheap packages?
Please, seasoned travelers answer only.

I don't really hve any idea how the weather is in london and paris in late december/early january. is it REALLY snowy there? should i wear a puffy huge jacket or is a wool peacoat sufficent to keep me warm? it would also be nice if you provided a picture of a jacket that is needed from any shopping websites like alloy, delias, nordstrom, abercrombie, forever21, etc. is this jacket, http://store.delias.com/item.do?categoryID=1386&itemID=46182&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter= , good enough to keep me warm in london and paris or is it not thick enough? or should it be more big and warm like this: http://store.delias.com/item.do?categoryID=1384&itemID=46313&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=
