the countries I want to visit is Spain. We all going to make an itinerary of the countries we want to see, the one that can come up with the best ideas and the monies to last the longest, is the one we (the 3 of us) have to follow. Can you help me, and tell me how and if it can be done with that amount of money, are there trains or buses that can take to you from Madrid to France and then to Italy? Then we would take the plane back to Florida from the last country we have visited? Please help me, I want to win. I have never been outside the U.S. except to Mexico and Puerto Rico, which doesn't really count to me. Thank you for your help, that is all the money we have, we each have the same amount.

$6,000 is a lot of money You an definitely travel around Europe with that.

Flight tickets $500-$1000 depending on time of year.

You can get a Euro Rail Pass for ~ $700 that will allow you to travel by train anywhere in Europe

Share good Holiday Inn Style Hotel ($60 a day)

Stay at a hostel $15 a day each

Food can be anywhere from $10 a day to $100 a day depending on how fancy you want to get with entertainment probably closer to at least $50 a day.

With that you can spend 2 weeks in Europe for $3,000 each easy and that's not even on a budget.

if you want to win this bet, you better plan to stay in Europe a LONG time. 6,000 is a lot of money!

you can get a plane ticket for only $450-1000. For a eurail ticket it depends how many days and if you get a flexi or regular. Even if you get the one that works out to be the most expensive per day, it's still less than $50 a day. If you were to be in Europe 3 months though, you could get one that is only $17 a day, and that's only 1,100 for the youth (under 26) pass, still almost 5,000 of your money left!

And hostel prices vary with cities and season, you should be able to get one for $30 max if you're not too picky. Try STA and hostelworld.com.

This totally depends on how long you're planning on staying in Europe and how many days in each city. It's totally do-able though. This summer, I went to Dublin, London, Paris, and Rome (the latter 3 being the most expensive cities in Europe). I flew peak-season and open-jaw (into Dublin, out of Rome). I stayed two weeks and did it on $3000. So your itinerary is for sure possible. You'll need to look into different hostels... try hostles.com and hostelworld.com. Look for killer airfare by trying different aiports, and for sure book train tickets in advance and from the U.S. If you're 26 or younger, always make sure your getting a student/youth discount.

$6000 is more than enough....when you're in Spain, stay in hostels or "Residencias". Residencias are basically homes that people rent rooms. It's a cheap hotel. They're clean and safe. I stayed in them last year and paid about $36 a night.

$6000...you can do it. You'll win the bet. Check Iceland Air for your flights. They're usually pretty cheap.

I recommend to get a tent and things to cook, and bathe like if you were going camping then go out there and sleep somewhere in the woods and then go see what you want to see. whenever you want. will be cheaper like that dont you think? you can save a lot of money if you try that.
