I will be visiting Paris with three friends (all women) March 9-18, 2007 and staying at the Hotel Agora St. Germain. Two of us have visited this beautiful city on previous trips; two are newbies. I have been fortunate enough to enjoy Paris on several occasions, but always in late spring or summer. Could someone please inform me about the weather, activities, events, etc. during that time of the year? Thank you.

Am going to be staying in Paris (69 Boulevard Victor). Going to be arriving on the TGV at the Gare Lyon station and visiting Paris for the first time. Any idea how much a taxi would cost getting there - trying to avoid getting fleeced by some unscrupulous cabbie. Also I am going to be arriving on 14th July (Bastille Day) - what options will I have available on that day since its a major holiday? I will have significant baggage with me.
Thx

is there an actual reason for it being called the City of love other than the French are considered to be the most romantic people?
