What is a good amount to spend for a 2 week trip to Europe - including airfare, hotel, and food? Say, $2,000, $3,000? Just want to gauge people's thoughts! Thanks so much.

One of my friends is planning to go back home to its country of origin. But he's been living in the netherlands for the past 4 years illegally and he's been staying at his cousins place all the time. He's passport lapsed 4 years ago.
Now i want to know, what will he do or say to the immigration? any ideas of good reason to say? some of you have tried this before. And how do immigrations deal with this kind of problem? if they found out that he has been staying in the netherlands illegally, are my friend gonna pay a certain amount, as a fine? if is, how much? or they're gonna fine the relatives? in any case what will the immigration do to him?
Please give me as much information as you can, thank you.

I am particularly looking at the Artic Parka and Metropolis Parka by North Face, I love that they are long and appear so warm! Does anyone have any idea's of coats that may be similar in design, but a little cheaper? Say around the $100 - $200 mark? Or anyone had experience with North Face before, and if so what are their products like?

Here are the websites of the two coats I'm looking at, thanks!

I am planning a trip from Innsbruck in Austria to Paris in France, then back to Innsbruck..I am not yet an EU citizen and my Visa doesnt allow my to enter Switzerland, So it's gonna be via germany most probably :
-Is there a reduction for young person/student? How much?
-Is the a reduction for groups? how much? and how big should a grp be?
-How about Night trains? any price estimations?
-Does it make it cheaper if i go by bus to Munich, then directly to Paris by train?
