eurostar is great for something like this. The cheap tickets, in the summer are usually sold out by now, but have a go booking online here
www.eurostar.com
It leaves from waterloo station in central london, arrives in gare du nord, central paris. For a day trip, i wouldn't mess about with cheap flights. The cheapest ones leave from stanstead and luton, both an hour out of london, you will be so exhausted with all your travelling you will have no energy to wander around paris.

Yes this is true, however it is a bit expensive. The exchange rate in the UK is nearly $2 for every £ but Paris is worth it. It takes you through the Channel Tunnel and back again and is the best way to get to and from Paris in such a short time. The next best method is to check out the low cost airlines but be careful which airport they land at, some land a good 2 hours away from Paris.

Eurostar is THE way to get from London to Paris. It's a great train ride and takes you centre to centre. Travel time is currently about two and a half hours, I believe.

You have 3 ways to go.
1. By bus, takes about 10 hrs, and you need sleep on bus and take ferry or train to cross English Channel. --Cheapest way down to 18pounds, but not recommended.
2. By air, takes 1 hr and half, you can find very cheap tickets from such cheap airline as Ryanair.com,(I only spent 200 euros on several flights in Europe), however, the bad thing is you need spend extra money and time on transfering from downtowm of cities to airports.---better than bus, but hassel.
3.By train, you can take Eurostar, and better buy ticket before you go, since you can get lower price than in Europe. Fast and price is reasonable. Downtown to Downtown, No time wast--Strongly recommended.
Hope this will help.

hi, i've got visited a lot of cities in Europe. human beings consistently desire Paris, because of the fact they have a spectacular opinion approximately France because of the television. yet not something is what it form of feels..! in certainty Rome is a lot extra suitable than Paris and different ecu cities. i admire Italian foodstuff, Italian history, Italian artwork... i could pick to stay in Italy sooner or later... persons are soo outgoing! And French persons are regularly very closed with different human beings, they're too nationalist.. i'm hoping I helped you :)

Yes by eurostar. Advantage it will get you to the >Gare du Nord in central Paris.
Check out the Cheapo flights but make sure these go to Roissy CDG or Orly, as Beauvais is too far away.
Bon voyage

sounds about right but can't say 100%.
why do you want to go to Paris? it's a dump. Stay in London.
(if you go to Paris you'd probably wish you could spend more than a day there so you might be better waiting and going another time for longer. eg a weekend)
