What is a good amount to spend for a 2 week trip to Europe - including airfare, hotel, and food? Say, $2,000, $3,000? Just want to gauge people's thoughts! Thanks so much.

I'm early 20's, so in response to 'more details', I'd say I'd say I'm looking to save, but I want to gauge what other people spend on a semi-budget mixing cheap hotels and hostels across UK/France for a 2 week period.

What would everyone spend on a day-2-day, and how is/will my spending hold up comparatively!

Based on last years experience, $60. day per person (being frugal, using hostels) and about $750. per flight. ~
It is cheaper for a number of people traveling together, and may even support a rental car (with 2 and up).
The time of the year will impact the cost much.

Well, the only thing I can tell you is that is is expansive! Especially gas and renting a car will cost you a lot. The Euro is strong at the moment, so, you don't get a lot for your dollar.
But nevertheless, you will have a great trip! Big cities of course are more expansive, are you going to England, Netherlands, Germany?
Have fun!

Without knowing your travel style, it's impossible to answer your question. Are you a budget traveler or moderate or luxury guy? How do you like to spend your time?

You'll have to ask a much more specific question to get helpful answers.

Enjoy your trip!
