Hi,

I'm an Erasmus student.
I'm currently studying in the UK,
I'll be studying for a short period at the Artistotle University of Thessaliniki from 10 January until 31 March 2007.
I'm looking for any type of accommodation, sharing a flat with other Erasmus students, or at a host family, or any suggestion you may have.

If you live in Thessaloniki, your help/tips are appreciated.

I have already checked many websites and forums, and apparently it's very difficult to find a room at this time.

Any suggestions?

Thanks very much in advance.

I will be in Europe for a few months for school. I would like to spend my last week relaxing on the beach (it will be in early June). I have been looking into Santorini. Do you think this is a good choice? Should I stay near kamari or on the cliffs?

I'm preparing an IQ test and I'm looking for GREEK words that can be read both ways. Example "part" and "trap"or "devil" and "lived".
The two words don't need to have the same or similar meaning.

We let technology and development do their work...But wht about going back to our old traditions? If we did would tht help us or would it be mischievous?Should we sacrifice our civilization to the altar of unity?(Should we lay day our civilization for unity?).Why are we trying so much to imitate others? Is this the main reason for our geographical and cultural dwindling?

I was reading about Einstein and i found out about Karatheodoris and i felt bad for not knowing the man who was behind Einstein. I just wanted to know if anyone else knows about him. It is sad for some people that offered a lot not to be recognised.
"It should be noted that Albert Einstein in his last interview had stated referring to his teacher that no one has asked him about his teacher who showed him the way to higher mathematics, both in terms of thought and research. He said characteristically that his great teacher was the incomparable Greek Konstantinos Karatheodoris to whom himself personally and the math science, the physics and the wisdom of our century owe everything."
