Hi,
I'm an Erasmus student.
I'm currently studying in the UK,
I'll be studying for a short period at the Artistotle University of Thessaliniki from 10 January until 31 March 2007.
I'm looking for any type of accommodation, sharing a flat with other Erasmus students, or at a host family, or any suggestion you may have.
If you live in Thessaloniki, your help/tips are appreciated.
I have already checked many websites and forums, and apparently it's very difficult to find a room at this time.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for all the suggestions so far.
I missed the deadline for asking for accommodation arranged by my school.
So I need to find my accommodation without help from my school.

There is a youth hostel at Alexandrou Svolou st.

I'm afraid it is not going to be very easy to share a flat with someone at this time of the year...
Try the Secretariat of your school or try to post an ad in a Greek newspaper, like AGELIOFOROS or MAKEDONIA or MAKEDONIA THS KYRIAKHS or any other newspaper in Thessaloniki and then you might find something...

here the greeks are not very willing to share with foreinger especailly if they dont know you. it will be best to contact the Erasmus department of the university where you will be studing. maybe they can help you. you should have all the details.
