If people are so interested in Titanic, it would seem logical to have preserved the Olympic.

I am interested in going on an Alaskan cruise this summer with my husband and mother, 60 y.o. I am interested in ANY information, experiences, What cruise line is best for Alaskan cruises? I have traveled with Carnival in the past and had an amazing experience. What is the difference between the Southern and Northern tours? Which one is I guess more "scenic" and will have things for a 60 y.o. who is not athletic to participate in? This is something that she has wanted to do for years, and would really like to look into it for a trip this summer for her! Again, ANY information will be appreciated

Hi all,

I've just book a trip to the Bahamas for 4 nights and got till the 17th to cancel it. The trip is for me, my girlfriend, and my daughter inside the Disney Wonder. The estimated cost for the trip alone is a little bit under $4K.

I was thinking, since we won't depart until Sept. 2007, should I cancel the trip I booked and wait till August 2007 to rebook it? I'm assuming that if all the rooms doesn't get filled then they'll lower the rates and I'll be able to book a cheaper trip.

What do you guys think?

My husband and I went on a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas last year and it was okay. We weren't very impressed but the price was good. It seemed the entire time like they were trying to pretend everything was nicer than it really was...

We would like to go an Alaska cruise this summer. We weren't sure if we should try Carnival again - I heard there are benefits to using the same company more than once - or try a different company. Are they all generally the same? We're looking for something for young married couples. Not the party scene, but also not the family or retired scene either.

Any recommendations?

I am in my early 50's but am told I look less than 40. I am a size 6-8, white, with fairly toned build. What do I need for daytime around pool, buffet, shops, etc? What do I need for night life on ship, other than at dinner? What does one take with them when you dock in ports? Suggestions?

Me and a buddy of mine will be going on a cruise later this year although we are not sure which cruise line yet. I will be a few months shy of being 21. Will they really be that strict on me having a few drinks aboard the ship? Could you tell me from your own experience which lines are pretty strict and which lines aren't. Thanks
