Is it the Queen Mary 2 or the Adventure of the Seas or some other cruise ship? Also, how does the largest cruise ship compare in size to the largest aircraft carrier?

I am a single male 62 yrs. mobile but not running marathons. I like to travel either cruise or fly to almost anywhere without much prior notice of where I am going. I am a non smoker and non drinker. I am looking for someone that wants to share expenses with traveling. I like to do many different things ex: dancing, camping, thrift stores, traveling (car, cruise, fly) either overnight or weekends or much longer,, photography, computers, listening to music, going to the movies, very easygoing and very handy around the house. dining out, reading, watching TV, car shows, motorcycling, fishing, visiting ghost towns, exploring towns that I haven't been to. I am of course retired have been for almost past 3 years. If there are some ladies or guys that are in the same predictament as myself please contact me. toy84@verizon.net

My family and I are going on a Disney Cruise next Saturday. We are excited, but clueless, this is our first cruise. Does anyone have a packing list, to-do before leaving list, tips, suggestions, activity ideas, etc.
(**Please do not answer if you have never been on a Disney Cruise before**)
Thanks!

It will just be my mom and I, so I'm wanting to do something a little special for her.

I'm looking for shore excursions that we can do. She has some mobility issues, so I wat very little to no walking and the walking to be easy, so she can enjoy herself. We will be in Ochos Rios, Georgetown Grand Cayman and Cozumel Mexico. The only thing I know I would like to do is a sub excursion, but I don't know which port would be best.... Also, I would like to stay at around $50 per person. This is our first time doing excursions on any cruise, so it will be something new for us.

Also, how common is it for their excursions to sell out? I missed the 10 day deadline and have to book onboard and am a little concerned that I won't be able to get anything, so I am trying to get several options.

Also, with the excursions, do they usually start early? We don't want to have to get up real early, since we do that everyday anyway.

We have $5000.00 to do this but i'd rather not spend the whole amount. help!

I'm trying to plan a vacation for myself and my 7yr old son during April vacation week. We've done Disney (both California and Florida) many times over, and even LegoLand in San Diego (for February vacation). I'm trying to plan something that isn't horribly expensive, but has enough activities to keep a 7yr old boy entertained. Any suggestions would be very welcome! (Note: We currently don't have passports, and due to the 8 week wait, out of the country travel isn't an option).

We're planning on a cruise in Jan. 08 and according to Disney the cabins with windows are already booked unless you choose the most pricey deluxe cabin (a couple thousand more) than we planned to spend.

Is it possible to still get cabins with a porthole or window through some other means, like travel agents or some other approach? We want to stick with a Disney cruise during our kids' winter break, so we're limited to looking at one partciular cruise right now.

Also, did you try an inside cabin (no porthole)? Was it pleasant? We were hoping for a porthole so we'd feel less confined, but perhaps we could live with an inside cabin. We'd certainly save thousands. What was your experience? Thank you!

My husband and I are planning to cruise late August to early September and want a departure port and itinerary somewhere outside the U.S. We are looking for a 10-14 day cruise, preferably with some good beaches and a clean, efficient ship and crew. Price not an issue, but we're not interested in anything but relaxation.

I am trying to book a cruise for my significant other and I, but we aren't usually into the typical "gay" scene. We are hesitant on going on an all gay cruise, so I am trying to figure out what other cruise lines would be best without having to worry about being harrassed or getting looks because we are gay. We do not kiss or do anything else in public so I do not see an issue, but it would be nice to know an opinion on what cruise lines are more accepting.
