I took a cruise on the Royal Caribbean ship Rhapsody of the Seas in the summer of 2006. I went to Key West, Florida/ Georgetown, Grand Cayman/ and Cozumel, Mexico. I'm am 15 now and was 14 on the cruise. I liked it very much and would love to go on Freedom of the Seas if given the chance. It was fun they had lots of things for adults to do and children as well. They had schedules for the children so they would know what was going on during the day. There are talent shows and scavenger hunt's and also a arcade room. It was really fun the first 3 or 4 days but after a while it got a little boring, i was stuck playing Bingo with my mom. But overall it was fun. The food was great in the Windjammer Cafe, I didn't like the formal dining room too much cause they didn't have much variety. The pools are usually packed but there is a private solarium pool for ages 16 and older which isn't packed at all. There were comedians and singers that performed. It was beautiful and the ports were fun. I got to go swimming with stingrays in Grand Cayman and also snorkeling too. My dad has been back to Cozumel a couple of times, he went scuba diving and he loves it. I think you will have a really nice time if you go and it's better if you are 21 or so cause you can drink and at the top of the ship there is a disco place where you can dance. Hope you have fun on your first cruise!

We went to Alaska last year and are going on a Western Caribbean this year. It was the greatest vacation we ever have had on the Princess to Alaska. I cannot believe anyone would tell you, that has been on a cruise, that its not the most awesome vacation they ever had. We got a cabin with a balcony and room service brought us breakfast every morning (this is free) and we sat on the balcony and ate and watched the sea animals that follow the ship some days.
The food is great, the entertainment great, service is great. I didn't want to get off the ship. Their is something everyday on the ship to do for any age. You can have a blast never getting off the ship, but all the ports they stop at are awesome as well.
Save your money and go cruising.

I have cruised many places.
I loved the Windstar Cruise line around Greece.
There is no Captain dinner or silly toga night. Princess and Holland America to Alaska was great too. Also the Princess cruise around Tahiti.

I like that you put your clothes away and every day you end up somewhere else without checking in and out of hotels. Also you don't have to spend a half hour trying to decide where to have dinner and then look at prices before you order.

I took my first cruise 5 years ago and have cruised every year since then. I LOVE it! It's such a great way to travel. A cruise also allows me to travel with friends and family who have very different interests than I do. We each go our own way during the day, meet up for dinner and talk about what we did, and then meet again later at a bar.

I took a cruise to Alaska on the Norwegian Star. I loved it. My favorite thing about my cruise was waking up, getting a hot breakfast, and then drinking hot chocolate on the deck sailing past ice bergs with eagles and breeching whales within view. I loved my cruise. In fact, I'm going again. It's hard to hate cruising.

If it somewhat is basically going to be couples (and Wally together with his roommate) i might say no. Went on a cruise as quickly as-the Mexican Riviera-could have been surprising if my husband hadn't been there. He ruined the full element!!!! I left from CA (so no airfare) it replaced into under $1000 for 7 days. once you talk that incorporates all nutrients and entertainment...Have quite a few cruises planned as quickly as I graduate in a 300 and sixty 5 days. This time they are going to be relaxing! Lizzy-in case you have been with a set i might think of you would be plenty safer. i might by no potential go on shore journeys on my own.
