We just got off the Glory on Saturday. You can get a soft drink card that allows an all you can drink. We didn't get one but someone told us it was $5.50 a day. Here are some alcohol prices I'm copying from my receipts. 15% is automatically added to each one as a tip.

Corona 4.75
House Vodka 4.50
Bloody Mary 4.75
Chardonay at dinner 26.00/Bottle
Martini 6.50
Red Zinfandel at dinner 22.00
Pinot Grigio at dinner 22.00
Cabernet 5.25/Glass
Manhattan 6.50
Bucket of Imported Beer (Corona) 17.50
Merlot Fetzer 6.25/glass
Merlot C Crest 7.25/glass

No, alcohol is NOT free. In fact, this is where the cruise lines make the majority of their money. The only free drinks are juice, iced tea, coffee, water (tap), and milk.

If I remember correctly, the alcoholic drinks on Carnival cost about $5 & up for shots, $7 and up for mixed drinks, and $12 or so for a bucket of beer (I think you get 5 or 6). Wine is also pretty expensive, but prices vary.

These prices do not factor the 15% tip that is automatically added to each drink purchase. Check out cruisecritic.com. They might be able to give you more specific pricing on the message boards there.
