Hi, I'm trying to decide between going to the two places during the first week of March. What are the differences? I'm mainly looking for nice beaches, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Also, how is the mosquito situation then? I am very allergic to them.

There is also a race called El Cruze a Nado Chavin named in her honor. The fountain/statue had a plaque with more details of her life, but I can not find any details about her on-line. Thanks.

Hey I just wanted to know because I moved from Puerto Rico and I wanted to go in summer maybe since i never went and it has the biggest radiotelescope in the world and that is one of the things that put us in the map other than we are so incredibly GENIAL. I will be going to Puerto Rico In about 2 months and the cell phone provider I have is Metro PCS which is only available on certain parts of Florida and not in Puerto Rico. Is there some kind of pre-paid phone I can buy here in Florida that I will be able to use in Puerto Rico with out problems? And If I do get one I would want it to be nationwide not just for certain parts. Any information you can give would be really helpful. Thanks.

Has any stayed here? Or does anyone live in PR that can tell me honestly what this place is like. It's cheap, the pictures look ok. All I want it for is to sleep, and take a shower, I am not expecting the ritz carlton. The only thing I require is no rodents creepy crawlies, or filth..
