I am planning a visit to calgary and also banff to ski at end of march. I also planning to rent a car to drive from calgary to banff. I never been to canada before either. Would it be easy driving for the visitor from calgary to banff, wouldn't I get lost? I also want to visit icefield parkway where I can drive along lake Louis, how can I do that? Wouldn't be dangerous to drive during winter time? Thank you for the info and answers!!

If you do recommend then where would be the best place to buy a house and settle down. We are a couple with two young boys and are looking for a nice house in a safe clean area near good schools and close enough to downtown so husband can drive to work easily but far enough to get away from noise.

I'm looking for a good efficient (hopefully cheap) way to get to see the Edmonton Oilers play the Calgary Flames in the Pengrowth Saddledome. Any tips, or ideas on tour companies that do this? I know there's one that comes from Calgary to Edmonton every once and a while, but I don't the name of if. Any help?

Hi we are planning a vacation to Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, can anyone suggest a good a hotel in either of these places. I would like something fairly cheap [$100-125] and something in a nice neighborhood, with a pool. Also is there any attractions in theses two places that you consider a must see.

Like how it's booming and there's a lot of money to be made there. Is that true, Calgary is on the up and up? and also are there a lot pretty women there, generally speaking. I'm from Toronto but I hear a lot of good things coming from Calgary.
