its not hard to find a job out there a work permit might help. i was out there made great money only stayed 2 years because its hard to find a place to live. i lived in a camper for the first 6 months i was there until some one stoled every thing i owned including the camper while i was at work. when i did get a place i had 8 rent increases in 17 months to the grand tune of $2800. a month and utilities on top of that. where i was living was 50 miles outside of Calgary so i would hate to see rent prices in Calgary. plus it was one heck of a commute to where the oil is. it all sounds good but i would beware as this stuff happens all the time to everyone

It is very easy, but get in now, with all the talk of global warming and Kyoto, the work is dwindling right now. Try the survey industry, There is no break up for them, and it is coming soon, all other industries in the field will be affected. Trust me it is a very good job, with excellent opportunites.
