I will be traveling to Tasmania in the next month and would appreciate some suggestions of where I will be able to access (preferably free) wireless internet? I will be going to Hobart & Launceston, and a few other places in between. Cheers.

Ive been reading about them.
They both got nice beaches and clean fresh air.
And Im sure theyve got fresh food too.

I really want someone who lives in either of these places to tell me honestly that there is no crime.
Why should there be?
Its like paradise and everybody got to do there part to keep it that way.

And what kind of employment can I find in either of these 2 places.
I got a Science degree but I like a active(not desk-bound) career that enables me to have a resonably comfortable life for me and one day my future family.

I am honest and willing to learn and adapt.
I took up Australian PR but Sydney has too much crime.

Personally, as ridiculous as it sounds I think it would be a great Idea.. think about it we will be preserving one on the natural wonders of the world and tourists can visit and be a whole lot me comfortable in the shade and not get sunburnt... I support the notion wholey and wouldn't mind paying a conservation tax to support the idea?? do you??

I've been putting some Serious into moving to Australia, I'm planning on going to check it out next summer. Is there any one here who can give me the facts on Australia, like how to apply for citizenship, cost and quality of living and all that other good stuff. It will be greatly appreciated

I am traveling to Australia on the 10th Feb. Unfortunately when I arrive in Perth I will need to find a job. I was considering doing fruit picking, but I know there is high demand for this during the summer months. I will be 25 and am a quaified electrician to British standards.

Hi guys - got a question re cane toads.

Ok, I live in a townhouse on the Gold Coast, small fenced back yard, fairly well enclosed.

At night time, the court yard is riddled with cane toads, and I mean riddled!

What I want to know is where do the buggers hide out during the day? There is too many to cut and run and then come back at night, and there is not many places they can hide. We do have tiered landscaping, but I have poked around in there at daytime and never seem to disturb any.

Any ideas? I know I can't get rid of them all - but it would be a relief to get rid of some!

Thanks all
