If you want to be a waitress on an airline you need to contact the airline directly.
Only 3 airlines in Aus - Qantas, Jetstar (a Qantas company) and Virgin Blue. Look up their websites and apply on-line.
For Virgin you'll have to be good looking, young and look good in a short skirt. For Qantas you'll have to be old and ugly. I've never flown Jetstar.
There are good restaurants here where you can be a waitress and earn better money with better hours.

im a flight attendant it took me 2 years to get the job you must apply to every airline many times and dont give up, my friends did after a few months.
Do everything possible to increase your chances languages hospitatily courses i worked in a bar for no pay, first aid emergency situation experiece show your caring by charity work,
its good to say you are or can do something but like anything they want proof.
there are also courses that help you get in they helped me good luck and dont give up it takes time but you will get there apply to every airline big and small because if you get a job with a country airline its all experience and then you can move on.

A better chance of getting this job if you have majorized in travel line. If i am not wrong, you may approach the Personnel Management Department in the airport. They may be able to provide you with some brochures and information on your interest.
