Planning a trip in December for 2 weeks.

Any great vineyards to visit and any fun things to do?

Is the Pacific Highway the best route to take? What alternate route should I take on the way back to Sydney?

Is it true that housing prices are going sky high?
We would probably have about 200,000 Australian Dollars to put on a house. That wont buy much will it? I was looking at real estates sites last night and most houses i saw were arounf the 250,000 - 485,000 dollars (Australian)
And aged almost 40 I was hoping not to have to have a hefty mortgage over 25 years again.
Here in Uk our mortgage is less than 50,000 pounds and we only have 15 years left on it.
This is making me question whether a move down under is truly viable> What do you think?

What do you think is the best city in Australia to live in and the best vity in Australia to visit.

The best city in Australia i would have to say to live in is defenitely Perth and even though it's the most isloated city in the world which sucks and it is pretty obring and there is not much to see and do and it is now the most expensive city in Australia to live in it is still by far the nicest city in Australia to live in in terms of standards of living.

Perth is a beautiful laidback freindly and relaxed city with lots of beautiful beaches and scenery and it is by far the cleanest biggest city in Australia, and while it is not one of the safest cities in Australia it is still alot safer then Sydney and Darwin which are the most dangerous cities in Australia.

It also has the best health care system in Australia, and in a few weeks time i will be going back home there and i am very much looking forward to it and it will get to see my family there again.

Like to snorkel but just off the beach. Is there anywhere in NSW or Southern Queensland that has any good spots?
Must have easy access to site. Don't want to be climbing stairs down cliff sides.

I have post a question similar to this before.
I am 16, I live in England with my parents, I moved here 9 months ago from Australia.

My parents make it impossible for me to live at home, and aren't letting me even go back to Australia for a holiday. As I am an Australian citizen, I have the funds to get a flight, is everything ok, if I just go and buy a one way ticket, I have suitable accomadation arranged.

I'm really fed up

Hi folks,
My family and myself are thinking of emigrating to Australia via skilled visas. Have started the ball rolling by paying for the skills assessment.
yesterday i felt keen to emigrate and full of hope.
Today i feel low, sad and unsure if it is the right thing to do. the whole process of emigrating seems overwhelming! having to seel your home, transfer pensions over and virtually sell most things you own and of course leaving family and friends behind.
Just want to know if anyone else felt like this when emigrating???
Or is this a sign that I should not be doing this???
