I understand that if you don't have luggage to check, printing the BP before going to airport allows the traveler to skip the check-in lines and go directly to security with carry-on items.

But when you DO have luggage that needs to be checked, you still have to stand in the check-in line to get the luggage checked and tagged. So what is the advantage? Does arriving at the airport with a boarding pass reduce the chances that you will be bumped?

I ask this because I'm flying tomorrow from ORD and could print my pass at home today if it would help.

My flight was cancelled 5 hours before departure for "weather" reasons - yet the weather at my point of origin, destination and everywhere in between was perfect. Who would have made the decision to cancel such a flight, and why?

Why do some women walk around the plane barefoot, even in the washrooms? Gross. Only women do it. Aren't women, like, supposed to be the cleaner gender?

This is for the sole purpose of getting free airfare... My husband has a flight from Jacksonville, FL tomorrow (Christmas Eve) to Ontario, CA (a smaller airport outdside of LA), returning December 29th. We paid 380.00 round-trip (a steal in IMO). I was wondering, since this a busy time, and the flights are more than likely overbooked, what is the best way to get voluntarily bumped with benefits? Thanks in advance, you guys are the greatest!

Ok, at 20,000 feet over central USA or Europe or any land area, why do you get a cushion and a lifejacket on a plane?, as your falling, do you take them and hope for a soft landing at terminal velocity, or as the "big yin" once said do you throw them at the mountain your heading for and hope you bounce off..................
Personaly I would prefer a parachute, even with no training would rather take my chances.......................................

I'm not a very experienced flyer! It says on easyjet you may take one hold luggage free of charge. I assumed thats the same as hand luggage that you keep with you on the plane, but it says on the site you may check in 1 bag. I'm confused!
