bringing a gift for the parents of your gf, regardless of what culture she is from, would be good manners and a nice gesture.
will you be visiting the philippines to meet her parents? i would like to ask if your gf is from the city or the province?
provincial filipinos have a lot of old customs regarding "courtship" and can come across as quite rude because they have no qualms about outright asking for money.
since you're caucasian, a lof of neighbors and children might come up to you to ask for money. try to keep your cool and compusure if this happens.
you should also ask your girlfriend what to expect once you visit them and ask her for tips and advice on how to proceed.

A gift of fruit or food is a great gift to bring to a Filipino girl's family. If possible, ask your girlfriend what their favorite food or fruit is.

Oh, DON'T give them whiskey... or any cheap alcohol. If you're going to give alcohol to a girlfriend's parents, regardless of race, it should be something tasteful like French champagne.
Otherwise, you'll look kind of sleazy.

Yeah but not cause they are Filipino do it because it is a nice token of how much you care and respect the daughter that they have brought to this earth and raised.

bringing something as a present for them is a nice gesture but you really don't have to.
i would suggest that if you do bring something, bring something irish to make them remember you and something about your culture.
