18 yr old male, Multi-lingual in, english, spanish, some arabic, some french.

Looking to move to Dubai, have some money saved up. What I want to know is, how much should I expect to pay rent for a studio or 1bedroom apartment, at the cheapest and where.

Resident visa, and work permit related information would also be great, Im an American.

Jobs; how hard should I expect it to be! Doesnt matter where, could be washing plates at a local restaurant or a paper pusher.

Vehicle, what sort of documents would I probably need to be able to purchase a vehicle and register it for road travel.

Thank ya'll in advance!

i have applied for a visit visa thru a friend. i paid more than 4000dhs for the visit visa, plane ticket and 2 mos accomodation. i want to cancel it and get a refund. she told me she will deduct the amount of 1000dhs for the cost of the visit visa plus the plane ticket reservation fee of 500dhs. the visit visa is still on hold so i told her the cost of the visa can still be refunded coz it hasnt been issued yet and deduct only the processing fee of the visa. but she told me it cant be refunded anymore. how much is the processing fee for the UAE visit visa?

I'm holding a Qatari residency & planning to visit UAE. Is it possible to get an entry permit at Abu Dhabi airport? Or is this entry permit issued only at Dubai Airport? (That's what I heard from couple of guys here).
Appreciate anybody's help in that...cheers

In this scenario, absconding means leaving the UAE for vacation and not coming back again.

Will I be banned from entering the country forever?
If not, will I be jailed once I enter the country and eventually be deported?

If in case, another employer wants to hire me in the UAE again, are there any ways to work again here?
