The United Arab Emirates (also the UAE or the Emirates) is a Middle Eastern country situated in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula in Southwest Asia on the Persian Gulf, comprising seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, AjmÄn, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain. Before 1971, they were known as the Trucial States or Trucial Oman, in reference of a nineteenth-century truce between Britain and several Arab Sheikhs. It borders Oman and Saudi Arabia. The country is rich in oil.

The united arab emirates is a large country located in the middle east. I'd like to suggest that if you do have a computer or even access to a computer. That you download google earth, its free for personal use (run a quick search on google, for google earth).
Google earth is one of the most stunning programs I think I've ever seen. What is it? Its a complete map of the earth (planet) created from extremely high resolution satelite imaging data. But you can search for any place on earth, even places you have never been to or seen before. You can learn ALOT from it and its great fun too.
**Once you have google earth installed you can go and easily find precisely where the UAE is and you can even see what kind of landscape they have, such as deserts, mountains,etc. Its well worth doing and I highly recommend this too you. You will get a much better idea of where & what the UAE is.

united arab emirates is also called the u.a.e i've been there. the capital of e.a.e is abu dhabi. this is a hot and boiling place that is reallt develpoing economically. the united arab emirates is near oman, iran, saudi arabia, and the persian golf. here are some facts:
