have you ever asked somebody something and they looked at you in a weird way and answer you in the most sarcastic way?

a few years ago as i was out with a few friends in tripolli ,we went into a resturant and we had burgers and fries
i told a friend to ask if they had chicken salt and she didnt really understand so she said to the guy "what type of salt do you have?"
his reply was: "the salt we use is the finest and we go to the ocean and get the salt personally" i felt like he was mocking us .. so i over done it and asked for (in a half lebanese and half aussie accent) " do you have chickem salt? barbecue sauce? and mayonnaise?"
the man paused... went red and answered in a different accent "sorry one minute ill check the back" and took a long time before coming back.
a couple of his friends peacked out the backdoor when he went in.. lol

do you have a story of your own?

Hi. I did a study abroad program this summer in Morocco. The school turned out to be really sketchy.

I personally gave them a check as tuition payment. I made it out to the name of the school like they originally told me. When I went to give them the check, they asked me to scribble on the check and change the name to the director's husband.

I refused because 1) that's weird, and 2) you can't scribble on the same check and then submit it to a bank with another name on it.

I ended up giving them the check. Now they are emailing me, and they want to know my bank's address to cash it.

Is it necessary for them to know my bank's address in order to cash my check in Morocco? (it's an American check). I don't think it is, and I do not want to provide this information, but I'm not sure about Morocco's exact procedures.

does anyone know?

(also I want to emphasize that Morocco is a beautiful country and most of the people I met there are great. just not this sketch school!!)

and also a series of explosions were heard by hundreds of witnessess and listen to what the engineers have to say about the buildings and the way they came down...it was a demolition according to the engineers also if the building that just got caught on fire from the burning of the twin towers also came down in the same exact way the twin towers came down...doesnt that mean that explosives were used? How can a building come down like that just from a fire?????
heres the video........
It only aired once on tv and never again after that!!!I wonder why!!!

*Two moons on 27 August*

*27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for...*

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August.

It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will
culminate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth. Be sure
to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2
moons. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

I was really SHOCKED by opinions saying that Palestinians are homeless freaks

Tell you what,I've noticed that the majority of Egyptian youth regard Palestinians as such ........ and talk about them in a disrespectable manner as if they where those who sold their lands for money

How dare people esp. Egyptians describe our brothers and sisters....... our Family ...... as homeless freeks

Please take care... You are saying so today coz you think you are in a peaceful place, living with your family, going out with your friends,go to cinemas, enjoying your time peacefully in all ways

But........... WHAT IF ... ?????

All at a sudden, your country was invaded, your father and brothers were killed, your mother and sisters were raped,,,and the whole family was torn apart !!!!!!!!

YOU'D BETTER GIVE IT A SECOND THOUGHT

Now I KNOW Israel can be dangerous but most of it is beautiful and safe. I am goign there this year or next with my mother, and possible father because my mom wants to check out living spaces because she wants us to move back there (ancestors from there) in four years. Anyone from Israel, want to tell me about some beautiful places and society there? I know how to speak Hebrew a little and read it but English is spoken there as well, right? Please, no anti-Israel, please.
