I was really SHOCKED by opinions saying that Palestinians are homeless freaks

Tell you what,I've noticed that the majority of Egyptian youth regard Palestinians as such ........ and talk about them in a disrespectable manner as if they where those who sold their lands for money

How dare people esp. Egyptians describe our brothers and sisters....... our Family ...... as homeless freeks

Please take care... You are saying so today coz you think you are in a peaceful place, living with your family, going out with your friends,go to cinemas, enjoying your time peacefully in all ways

But........... WHAT IF ... ?????

All at a sudden, your country was invaded, your father and brothers were killed, your mother and sisters were raped,,,and the whole family was torn apart !!!!!!!!

YOU'D BETTER GIVE IT A SECOND THOUGHT

Noha, the youth you are referring to don't know much about our struggle with Israel, even worse, some of them dream of leaving to Israel and work there for money. So, I guess they are ignorant or don't want to learn about the truth of the struggle to spare themselves the feeling of guilt towards their brothers in Palestine and to spare themselves the effort of trying to bring back the occupied territories. All they care about these days is "a mobile and a ring tone".
May God save our beloved Egypt from a similar destiny and tell you what, with the quality of the Egyptian youth nowadays, only God knows what could happen if we are in danger of invasion by another enemy.

Im sorry to say this but the majority of the Palestinians that i have met all over the world care little about what they have left;

They dont send charity
They dont politically lobby
They forget about the homeland very easy. So Easy

Note i say the majority not all, yes many sold thier lands and at this point i care for the ones that are still there and are struggling for the right to humanity. Its the ones that are still there that get my duas, attention and effort.

Its not a question of about if your country was invaded, if they fought for decent leadership instead of curropt they wouldnt be in this position but then again this could be said about the rest of the Arab/Muslim world.

I guess its ok to be opressed if the opresser calls himself an arab or a Muslim. Thats ok but as soon as the opresser is someone who is not an arab or a Muslim then , lets all get up and demand our rights for us and our brothers! Ya salaam

Your thought echo my own Noha, so very much.
I have always wondered just why a bunch of European refugees with no connection to the land, other than Biblical references,( these are very often unreliable when taken as hard fact) were given Israel and part of Palestine as compensation.
Would it have not been more appropriate to give them a potion of Germany to resettle in.
It is an ongoing example of greed that they just keep wanting more. The area given under the Balfour declaration is no only a portion of what they have stolen from its rightful owners.
These are the same people who cried out to the world so loudly about the injustices done to them and their race in the second world war and throughout history.
It makes me wonder WHY. Why do these people keep being turned out of every country they settler in?
If justice is done as the wheel turns they will also be turned out of Palestine. They can then go and live in America.
Have you noticed that all the Israeli spokesmen have American accents, interesting eh!

I do understand your opinion. The problem is, the question your posing is going to read by a very, very high majority Americans (like myself) ranging from age 17-28. I would honestly say that 45% of them may not know whether Palestine is a country or city or any fact similar, and a good majority will get it mixed up with Pakistan.

So posing a question to Egyptians or anyone else won't bring interest to these people. Also, your question's not clear. Are you asking what if our family was torn apart, or how we feel about Palestine?

of course this an improper way to refer to Palestinians as they are our Muslim brothers and sisters. And the current Palestinian generation have nothing with what their great grandfathers did abt 60 yrs ago and are not to blame to what have become of them now. However, u should know though that Palestinians did sell their country to Israelis by their own will . if u ask and do some research, u should know what is hiding there. U know, not everything is said...

Noha, well said...
If there was anything gained by the conflict last year between Israel & Lebanon it was that AT LAST people over here started to look at the situation of the Palestinian people in a different light.
Up till then there was blind deference to the Israeli position & no consideration towards the greater issue of the displaced Palestinian people.
Having said that I still feel the younger generation really have no interest , regard or respect for the Palestinian position ...unfortunately the media is so biased that their story is , in the main , distorted beyond credibility !

i have never heard an egyptian, young or old, accuse the palestinians or use such language with them.
the only sight s that tear my heart are those we see on Al Jazeera tv channel showing palestian, iraqi, afghan . and south lebanese .men and women, children and aged , families killed without mercy or humanity. houses are bombed, lands are occupied, the living in a worse situation than the dead.
dont be shocked when you come across a remark or an insult. this is nothing when compared to all these losses.
why do we hear abusive words ? they come from the aggressors, the ones who took arab lands and drove away the owners who fled for their lives.
as for palestinians killing one another, this is the old strategy of imperal powers, DIVIDE TO WIN. the british dod this in all the states they occupied. now the americans and the israeli are following the same strategy. thy are decent with abbas l, but give him orders that he has to follow to survive as the president . hamas men are the enemy instead of the israeli. isnt that clever ?
believe me, every time i see a woman crying over the dead body of her man or son, i pray that God may give her patience and strength to carry on and be able with other free men to regain their landS, not just land.
God is up there, weighing and counting our virtues and sins.
trust in Him , He is the only Truth that will judge us .
dont be angry. donTbelieve it, it all comes from you know who.
kul leil wi luh akher , i see this akher approaching.

to refute zosers claim the palestinians didn't sell all there land.

It is true the jews bouth land but at the time of 1948 jew's held only 7 percent of palestine land. Which they bought.

But after 1948 they took the land from the owners.

I quite agree, they are what is laughingly referred to as displaced people, and my sympathy lies with them, but the one thing i do not understand is why there is so much infighting between them, I confess my knowledge of middle eastern history is not quite what it should be but i would think that anyone that comes in and takes over the land you have occupied makes them the aggressor.
