There's good and bad in all (except French, they're all badly engineered).
German & Japanese cars are the best engineered, however I love some American cars.
If I had to follow my common sense I'll choose a Japanese car.

Taiwan cars would be Formosa and the others are mostly license built Japanese brands: Honda, Toyota, Nissan. There are also others like some Fords and some VWs. They are all derivative of others designs, so are not as interesting. It would be preferable to have a Japan-built version of the same model over the Taiwan-built version. But the prices are very good.
German built cars are excellent, of course, but oftern are not as reliable in reality as in people's minds. They tend to be much higher priced than others of the same class.
French cars have loads of character and some of them look really cool. I love the Peugeot 206. But French cars have a reputation as not being very durable.
I actually prefer Italian cars for their style. I drive an Alfa- Romeo myself. But since you didn't give this as a choice in your question, I would go with French cars. Vive le France!

I suppose I am dependable to the USA with regards to vehicles. When I regarded for a automobile to shop for I did appear at any manufacturers however at any time when I purchased an American automobile. My first was once a FORD, the moment an Oldsmobile by means of GM, and now I have a Chevy Impala made by means of GM. I am an all-American woman! Each automobile incidentally was once notable! I love(d) all of them and so they lasted a long time even after I purchased them used and so they have been accountable. I am born in America with a background from western Europe.

Well , I drive an Australian made car ...built for endurance , strong , comfortable , powerful ...
Our family car is Japanese...also has been reliable & well engineered ...
But my choice would be for a French car ...I love the style , finish & the accent ...lol

I heard German is good quality; however I have a Japanese car now so I have to say Japanese is my fav.

Mine is a japanese one..I like the engines, and they always work. As my husband says....."are the best cars for women " !!!!! lol..So.....I love my Toyota
