I think they're in a tough bind. On one hand, he was a tremendous competitor and gave it his all for this business. On the other hand, he could be a murderer. If he is proven to be the killer, do you think the WWE will still induct him? Does he belong there?

Seriously, last night everybody here was all sad, now so many of you are saying that you lost respect for the man, and hate him, etc. The theory that he killed his family hasn't been confirmed officially. Even if he did kill his family, there must have been something extremely wrong because a man like him wouldn't just kill his family then himself. Why would he do that right before he was going to get the ECW championship? It makes no sense. Also isn't it ironic that both Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero died right before they were going to win a major championship? (Chris-ECW, Eddie-World Heavyweight)

Last night 3 hour tribute wasn't needed for Benoit because it messed up the whole Vince Death storyline {WHEN VINCE SHOWED UP} and why would they tribute someone who killed his family and his self...WWE did not cancel the show when Eddie died or do a tribute on him!!! Im not sure though if they did do a tribute on Eddie but when other superstars had died like- Mike Awesome, Bam Bam Bigelow and Sensational Sherri they didnt do crap!!! No disrepect for Benoit but I'd say they still should had continued the show!!! They should had showed tributes during the show!! WHO AGREE!!

Why is it that all of these people are saying that Benoit will burn in hell for what he has done? Yes, it's a disgusting and heinous thing that it appears he has done, but we as people have NO right to pass judgement.

I don't know the faiths of those reading this question, but as it was taught to me, the Christian faith I was taught says that only GOD can judge people, and that we ourselves have no place to judge another person, unless we ourselves want to be judged.

I understand your anger, but please lay off of these comments.

according to pwmania wwe pulled all benoit stuff.they even change the description of wrestlemani XX main event as saying shawn micheals vs chirs benoit.Benoit was my favorite wrestler and i had a lot of respect for him.I have all his ppv dvds when he was champion,but after this i cant stand to look at him. I think wwe is right. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD BENOIT JUST RUNIED HIS LEGACY AND HIS FAMILY!

TMZ has learned more about the deaths of WWE wrestling superstar Chris Benoit, his wife and son -- and the information is extremely disturbing.

Several Atlanta-based law enforcement sources have told TMZ Benoit may have strangled his wife on Saturday, then smothered his son in his bed a day later. Investigators refuse to officially comment, pending final confirmation by the coroner on the cause and time of the deaths.

One source told TMZ that Benoit was texting friends during Sunday's WWE "Vengeance" Pay-Per-View program -- possibly watching the show with his son, who may have been alive at the time.

According to sources, Benoit then hanged himself Monday in a weight room inside the family home.

Latest reports indicate that authorities now believe that Benoit strangled his wife on Saturday, then killed his son by strangling him or smothering him in his bed On Sunday. It was then sometime on Monday that Benoit hung himself in his weight room.

I am a big fan of Chris Benoit, but i am not blind to the facts either.
and as much as it pains me too say, i think he did it. but these are my reasons that think maybe he did/didnt.

Guilty
1)He missed shows
2)he called in (alibi)
3)people have killed their kids before
4)he was "Quiet"
5) steroid rage
6) Police found Evidence
7) He Snapped

Not Guilty
1) He called in (maybe they were ill)
2) He loved his kids, basically they were his life
3) He loved wrestling 2 much, he must have known this would have DESTROYED his Legacy and everything he stood for.
4) Maybe the police made a mistake (Tupac/ B.I.G)
5) Framed

Well thats all i can think of right now, im still a little in shock.
But i just have a gut feeling something is not right here....

What do you people think? give a reason, dont just accuse.

Who cares....people die everyday and no one cares but because it is a wrestler doesn't make it more important....try writing a tribute to solders in the middle east, a fire fighter or a police officer. You people that are crying and writing page long messages about a guy that killed his wife and child is crazy. If you write anything about positive about this piece of crap your are supporting what he did....

1) Chris Benoit hung himself.
No, he didn't. They would have said "Chris Benoit was found hung."

2) Nancy was strangled on Saturday, Daniel was smothered on Sunday, and Benoit hung himself on Monday.
Don't you people think Daniel would've called the police or attempted to escape instead of just sitting in the house with Chris?
