ATLANTA (AP) -- Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife and smothered his son before hanging himself in his weight room, a law enforcement official close to the investigation told The Associated Press Tuesday.

Chris was a loving human man father husband if you watch the tribute on WWE's site you see him lift his son love hug kiss him then hug" Woman"his wife Nancy,but as with all people sometimes things go wrong.There is a very thin line between sanity and insanity.It doesn't take much to step over and cross it.No one knows what triggered this sad situtation,wheter it was induced by steriods,jealousy fear we may never know,Whether his marriage was over,Whether he was afraid he would lose his wife his son.we will never know that is between him and God.Just think how much time Chris was away from his family how much time he dedicated to his career to the fans.Dont love him last week and hate him now;dont judge him he was his own judge and jury;He sentenced himself to death for his actions.Pray for Chris his family that was slain His living children and his family living.Love him always regardless

Unbelievable. Just yesterday everyone was crying over the loss of him and his family and now he will probably have more enemies than friends. Who knows if it is even true? When I first heard about it I thought it was a stunt and actually researched it. No one will know what happens now, we'll just have to wait and see what the news tells us and take it all with a grain of salt. RIP Benoit Family

Autopsy result will not be in for another two weeks. You have no right to say that. This is a hard hard case for autorities, but NOTHING has been said about this investigation. Somebody could have broken in. You NEVER know. You are a huge liar.

IT looks like its true rumours are flying about why but he killed both his child and wife on sat and then himself on sunday I dont think that chris should be honored by the wwe any more than he has been and go on with the schedule and not play on this one as they did with eddie

Fu ck all of ya'll on here talking about Benoit like that man.... You b*tches were just talking about how Benoit was a legend and that he was going to be ECW Champion and now all of a sudden, you jump to conclusions off of a speculation that the police have???
The police don't even know their heads from their as s...... they can't close an investigation on half of their murder cases, but all of a sudden, they can conclude that Benoit killed his family and strangled himself??? Why the hell would Benoit leave Houston just to go home and kill his family?????

Yep. Some people still won't believe it though. Just because he is rich people don't think he could kill.
Just a naive society. OJ killed, Robert Blake killed, Former NFL player Ray Caruth killed. Lots of people with money are human and have the capacity to kill.

He must have been on drugs but i still cant believe he would do that. He was always a great wrestler and a kind hearted man. He wouldn't do that to his family

I believe differently, don't know why but if he killed him self maybe my thought is he walked in on his wife and kid found them dead and decided he couldn't live with out them so he hung himself. Either that or if someone killed them they hung Chris to make it look like he has killed them and then hung himself. I just don't see how anyone could do that to their own family.
