CourtTV just said that authorities confirmed that Chris Benoit strangled his wife, suffocated his son and hanged himself, based on autopsy results.

According to a report on WAGA-TV, investigators believe Chris Benoit killed his wife and son at some point over the weekend, and then killed himself earlier today.
They reported first hearing from a concerned neighbor and that the three bodies were found in separate rooms.
Detective Bo Turner told the staion the case was being investigated as a murder-suicide, but it could not be confirmed until the evidence was examined by a crime lab.
Sources in the Fayette County Police Department are now working under the theory that Chris Benoit killed Nancy on Saturday, son Daniel on Sunday, and then killed himself earlier today.
Benoit was found dead in his weight room. Nancy was found dead in the living room. Daniel was found dead in his bedroom, accordig to an unnamed source in the department.
Lt. Tommy Pope told ABC News "the instruments of death were located on the scene," but didn't specify what those were or where they were found. Pope said the department was not actively searching for any suspects outside the house.

YOU WAIT RIGHT THERE! My family lives in NY! MY brother law was a policeman and another was a fireman. There are tributes! There are some that are done everyday that others never hear about. Does that mean they aren't happening? How dare you pass judgement on something you know nothing about! People saw him in a different light than you did. Does that mean they are screwed in the head or does that mean that they saw something positive? He was a great wrestler. He for some reason or another did something horrible. No one has as of yet got on Yahoo and said the agreed with him killing his family and then himself. NO ONE! By people asking questions, they are trying to figure it out. That is human nature. dude its not that its a wrestler... its what he did. It would be on the news regardless at this point. People make it a big deal because its someone alot of people, especially KIDS, look up to. Hes an icon and role model for people because of his status. And when you see someone in the public eye doing some fked up sht like this, it comes as a shock to alot of people. No one is denying that a Police officer or firefighter or a soldier is anyless important but what the hell? This is someone who was always known to be "tame" and never had problems in his house prior to this.. never any cops or authorities... according to friends and neighbors. SO this is why we talk about him

ya, i do feel for all families with a loss, but ive watched Chris on WWE basically all my life!

First of all... I am a military bratt and have 6 soldier pen pals and am around soliders almost every day of my life so don't go there. Second of all, Benoit was a terrific athlete, and u do not know if he really did kill his family. Were u there? NO didnt think so. Get ur **** straight before you start telling us we can't mourn the loss of a hero.

who are you to judge anyone? none of us know if these rumors are true. let the investigation unfold before passing judgment. if you were a decent person, that is what you would do.
as for the other point, I'm sad about this. I grew up watching Benoit. he entertained and inspired me for 15 years. I am not going to write a tribute to him, but I'm not even a little bit happy that he died.
