I think they're in a tough bind. On one hand, he was a tremendous competitor and gave it his all for this business. On the other hand, he could be a murderer. If he is proven to be the killer, do you think the WWE will still induct him? Does he belong there?

Great question. Given the latest details that Benoit actually did murder his family then killed himself, I'd be hard pressed to believe Vince McMahon would put him in the Hall of Fame right away. Had Benoit been a victim of murder by a crazed fan for instance, it would've been a different story.

HOF? Wrestling?

What does the Wrestling HOF really mean, anyway? That a guy can fake punches better than his neighbor? That he can get a fake-bake more times in a year than a team of Swedish cheerleaders? That they are good actors?

I've always thought the HOF was a joke. I love the whole wrestling thing. I just hate it that these guys get recognition for acting like their hurt, or talk really fast.

Capt. Lou Albano is in the HOF. What does that tell you? The guy wore rubberbands on his face.

So, it doesn't really matter if Benoit is in or not. The fans will not all be happy with any decision made.

Has any of you ever checked the backgrounds of some of these wrestlers? There are some seriously violent guys in the business. Don't take my word for it. Check it out yourselves.

Even if it's proven we will never be 100% sure
none of us where in the house
we can say it's double murder suicide but no one will ever be 100% sure
something may hvae happened and we may never find out
so I think WWE should induct him the HoF
he worked his butt off for the bussiness and always gave 100%
he should be inducted

If he's found to be the killer, the WWE shouldn't do anything more.

Even the WWE might think it's in bad taste to continue to try to sell Benoit dolls.

No, mainly because I do not understand a wrestling Hall Of Fame. This is entertainment and no won a belt on thier own merit, just what was already predetermined.

Yes he belongs there, but if this is true then I would say NO, the WWE would not want to associate them selves with a murderer.

I think he will end up in there but it will just take him like 10 or 15 extra years. The next generations of wrestlers suck so they will need to find someone good to add.

Benoit will be elect into the HOF because he didn't kill his wife and son.
