I don't know if a regular tune up at a shop will take care of those.

It was suggested we go to Camelback. I couldn't buy tickets for the 2008 season. How do i get out of skiing? Is there snow fun for a non-skiing couple? Where should I buy tickets?

the binding on the right ski is about half an inch further forwards than the one on the left ski, im wondering if they did it for a reason because the right ski has a "right" sticker on it...

I live on the East coast and I really want to go skiing over the Holidays. I will be driving and I'm willing to go as far as 12 hours. I am going with a friend and we are both intermediate to expert. I was thinking Attitash or Killington. Any other ideas where to go???

I am a very advanced ski-racer, and i like lots of moguls, steep hills, and some powder, but I am going with my dad, who needs a nice lodge and village to relax in, and some not-so-challenging runs to ski on, too

I'm trying to buy a gift certificate for my hubby at a ski resort near us. I don't ski, so I don't know if these conditions are okay or not. Even if they aren't, a lot can change before he'd be able to go skiing in a month or so. Please let me know what this report says so that I can maybe know if it would be a waste of money. Sometimes the snow is good there, sometimes not. Thanks~

A friend offered me her ski boots. She wears a size 8 and I wear a size 7.5 shoe. Should I take them? The price is right - either free or only a few dollars, but I don't want to mess up my feet or form.

If it matters, I'm a brand new skier, having only been twice. If I don't take these boots, I would continue renting equipment and may buy stuff at the end of the season, if it turns out that I like skiing enough.

I'm going skiing end of January (last minute decision) for one week. I went skiing 9 years ago and did really well in one week, but I didn't build up my leg strength at all before and I suffered badly with my knees for three weeks. I want to be more ready this time and wanted to know a) have I left it too late to exercise? b) could you recommend the type of excersise and how much/often c) would I be better having a go at snowboarding? any other tips or advice you may have to make things easier I would be glad to receive. I'm 46 woman 8st 8lb 5'5" and the only exercise I get now is walking my dog twice a day.
