I stopped skating about 6 years ago, and was paying $30 - $35 per 25 minutes for a lesson. What are they charging now?

When you respond, please let me know what level you are so I have a basis for how much coaches are charging for different levels.

Does anyone think that these ae really worth the money they sell for $ 1,900 ( £1,100) which is double the price of most other top end boards. Im sure that they are very good but can any board really be worth that much?. People on this site often say Burton are too expensive but surely Palmer are worst then they are?.

We jug curl in a fun speil every year. Same rules as real curling except we use plastic jugs. Team consists of 2 guys and 2 gals. Lots of drinking involved. I need a fun team name

I have tried 4 different types and I have spilled with all of them. I need a shoe that I won't fall with when I step on ice or wet floors, and is rugged for stepping over mounds of snow and through slushy sidewalks I am asking alot for it to look fashionable, good enough to wear to the office

It started with the Olympics and that early morning all night coverage last year. Then I found a club,. Now I curl 3 times a week, and would do it more. Addicted to draw weights, take outs, peel shots, guards, wicks, double take outs oooooooh!

Just hit my first rail Friday, and now I cna't stop. I've got a Sims Impulse board and some brand new Burton Cartel bindings. I'm coming into some money in a couple weeks, and was wanting some suggestions as to the best freestyle boards I could buy, especially for hitting rails.

I'm looking for a place to fix my 2001 Yamaha srx700. I was in an accident on January 29 of this year. I love this sled, but I can't find a cheap place to fix it up. All the places I took it to were too much. It cost more to fix the sled than what it's worth. The entire front right section of the snowmobile is torn off. It definetly needs a new ski, shock system and steering. If anyone would answer my question I would appreciate it. I really want to get my sled fixed before the next snowfall.

so a while ago I asked about what a good board would be for riding in the park... I think I'm set with the Forum Jiblet... but now I'm looking at bindings... I was thinking the Forum Recon... I have the Burton Cartel's on my reg. board and I really like them and would like to find something with a toe cap... any suggestions?

Hello, i started skating lessons just a few weeks ago and i was really really enjoying it at the start. Today i had a lesson and i dont know why really but i feel quite disheartened. I felt good about todays lesson because i had been practising all week so i knew i was able to do the tasks we had to perform, but i got onto the ice and it felt like i couldnt skate at all, i dont know whether the ice was more slippery, i had to change my rental skates twice because they were totally blunt (much to the annoyance of the skate hire girl..oops) but it felt different today anyway. I learned some new techniques which i picked up quick so its not that im not interested and i dont want to do it but maybe i feel like i cant do it. I also feel as though the instructor doesnt really teach us, just shows us and we copy. Ive had in mind some skates i want for a while but now i think maybe i shouldnt bother getting them, what should i do, should i give up or just consider this a bad day???
