My girlfriend is a new to skiing. We are looking for someplace in NH or VT that has a good variety of "green" trails.

Stratton, VT is one of the nicest, but my family learned mainly at King Ridge which is small, but also not very crowded.

Woodstock near White River Jct.
Killington has all kinds of beginner terrain, but overall is ridiculously crowded with criss crossing trails.
Ascutney is close to I-91 and NH

Killington or Okemo in VT are great!

Okemo has a great many easy trails.
