I do'nt think they should simply because they are not as good.(Div 2 players are n't paid as much as premier league players). Why not scrap the sex discrimination and make Wimbledon an open tournament, combine the prize money and whoever wins ,male or female gets the money.Oh no ! the women would n't go for that because no woman would get through to the second round. The argument that they play their peers just like men do does n't hold water either...otherwise the over 50's and under 18's should be paid the same.Face it ladies...you can't play as well so you do n't deserve the same money...if you think you are...try putting say Venus Williams v Roger Federer. I'm not as good a boxer as Naseem Hamed and so would'nt expect to be paid as much.
Oh one more point...men play 5 sets women only 3...another reason. I'll concede...women are much nicer to look at though.

I buying my GF a new tennis racquet to improve her game. She can consistanly hit back and forth, and has good power, less control. I am seeking ideas of a good racquet to purchase. Any info from your experiences would be great! She is 30 years old, 5'6, and generates decent power with her strokes, which tend to be short. She does not "top spin" yet, only lobs and solid hits. Thanks!

I had went to fetch my little cousins from tennis practoce the other day. Was a bit early so just went to side of court onto the benches (its summer there was no way i was gonna sit in the car) So as they were nearly finished & clearing up i had made my way to the car. The coach had come up to chat & as we had left i did not hear the end of it how him & myself where both blushing.

The other day i had went to drop something off & they had known that we had spoken & that i am keen on taking tennis up as a sport...with the same coach.

We are hopefully gonna be starting to play early next year.
What should i wear? Is a spagetti string dress (mini drress) be okay or should i wear shorts? Help anybody

martina hingis is not dominating the game the way she once did is this because the game is a lot stronger now than it was when she was dominating or is it because shes not as good as she used to be?

Is there an advantage to having your horizontal and vertical strings at different tensions versus having them strung at the same, and if so what?

I am a 4.0/4.5 rated player, using a racket that is older... I am not sure when the aggressor 95 racket was made, but it still plays well. I play in league, and I like the stick, but is it too antiquated???
