Anything we can do to help?

We're planning a party during the big England/S. Africa rugby game, but we only know what to serve during the Super Bowl. What do people eat in England when watching rugby? Chips? Tea and scones? Help!

If any of you were in the final instead of England I would be supporting you. We are all in the Northern hemisphere.

Will you be suupporting England?

"Wayne's game's been (reviewed) by all four selectors and myself, probably under more scrutiny than any other game due to the interest in it," O'Brien said today.

"There were errors made. There was a scrum turnover not given in the first half that should have been.

"There was clearly the forward pass that was missed by all three officials and, at the end of the day, with Wayne being the referee he must take responsibility for that.

"There were two calls, one with a hand in the ruck and one with offside at a ruck in the last 10 minutes, which the touch judge should have given him.

"We've certainly reviewed the touch judges' performance and that's been reflected in our appointments for the third-fourth playoff and the final. Both of those touch judges have missed out."

"I think there were a lot of factors involved in New Zealand not winning that game and one of them was some issues with refereeing and touch judging -- and we've always said that"

Has anyone who plays rugby started their season yet?
How is it going so far? Are you playing well personally, what position do you play and what have been your highlights so far?

As for me the first match of my season is on the 31st of October, first round of the county cup bring it on!!!

Felt like asking this because there is an excessive amount of questions asking the same thing about the world cup.

How many players of colour are in the south african rugby squad for this world cup? Is it true that they should be operating a quota system?

The commentator said that it was because the England player went in at the side, but it looked to me as if the ball was out. It was about 18 inches to the side of any of the players. I know that if the ball is in the middle of a ruck you can't go into the side, but it did look like the ball was free. Please can somebody explain it to me.

Just leave us alone and we will leave you guys alone. Both sports have alot of fans, both sports have good teams, both sports can be fun to watch. So why attempt to breed contention by coming into the bloody American football forums ranting about how much better rugby is. Shut up, its not funny or smart. Americans don't hate rugby, so stop the crap.

As an argentine, I'm very proud of our team and what we've achieved, despite the fact we don't play any international competition and some of our players are still amateurs. But I recognize that South Africa was better than us, more professional. If only we could play an international competition, we could improve so much and have a shot at winning a world cup. With the little we have, we did as much as we could. But watching South Africa and England, I realized professionalism is crucial at this stage and that's why both teams totally deserve to be in the final.

I hope the final game will be as close as possible. However, I think it's going to be hard for England, despite the fact that they have the best player in the world (jonny wilkinson). I see the springbocks winning it by a very narrow margin, 3 points difference at most.

So, here are my reasons why I think South Africa will win tonight:
- they have played Argentina 11 times, and won all 11 times
- Argentina may have won all their games in the competition so far, but the teams they beat include Ireland (who were rubbish) and France (we all know what happened there).
- Both SA and Argentina have very strong packs, and play similar styles of rugby, but Argentina don't have the same speed that SA have in players like Habana.

If you think that Argentina are going to win tonight, what are your reasons?
