It is a tough and physical game and this was a throw back to the good old days when the forwards were the engine room of the whole game and everything was driven from there. English bested a very tough and committed French side. Well done both sides and congratulations England, commiserations France.

Go England! I'm so glad we're in the final. I don't usually watch the rugby, it doesn't appeal to me that much, but I'm glad I didn't miss last night's game!
I have South African relatives; it would be embarrassing if we lost to South Africa, because they wouldn't stop gloating!
But I'll certainly be watching the Argentina v SA game - more excitement!

Rugby is great to watch. Far more entertaining than football and despite the odd punch here and there, the players are far better behaved and much more disciplined.
Go England. Hopefully the Pumas can knock out the Springboks tonight.

undesirable so a tactics, narrowly beating Romania, and by no skill scoring a attempt adverse to Georgia. That stated I do precisely like the Scottish Rugby team, and they do have skills. i imagine they're in with a threat adverse to Argentina, its continuously close between both. As for England, Scotland can purely beat them at Murrayfield.

I'm French and of course I'm very disappointed, but England really played well: good defense which deprived the French of a possible try in the second half, and of course MISTER Wilkinson, the sharp blade (lol) who cut France's hopes!
Well done, and as England will be the only remaining team of the northern hemisphere, I hope they will win again: 2 finals in a row would be nice.
Anyway you can be proud of your team, who, like France, doubted for a while but managed to overcome and finally are in final.
Good luck, and GO ENGLAND!!

It wasn't a great game of rugby but the inability of both sides to score many points made it exciting to watch.
Neither side played well enough to deserve to be world champion so I guess it's between South Africa and Argentina now.

overall, this world cup hasn't been lacking in drama, i mean who would've predicted that both aus and NZ would b out in the 1/4 finals?
But the match between France and England was gr8, after the first half I thot that the french would actually win it, gud thing that didn't come true eh?
