Sounds like the Aussie press going "Is That All You've Got?" during the last WC. Chances are that England will lose on Saturday. But those were the chances against Oz and the Frogs (Good luck against Argentina on Friday you guys. We know you need it so badly.) Jonny has been crap so far. The games have been won by monumental performances by Vickery, Stevens, Regan, Shuter, Sheridan, Kay and the rest of the guys who have played in the pack. Wilkinson is not averaging a great deal more than 50% in goal-kicking, has missed tackles and his decision making has been slightly above average. England's better than expected performance is not due to Wilkinson. It is due to guys pulling on an England shirt with pride.

I dare you to go into the dressing room and say that....
Honestly, Wilko is not the team. They still have to give him the opportunity to score, they still have to make the ground, intise the oppo to make the penalty mistake. Also how about the tries that England have scored during the tournament, where they all crap? I dont think so.
Which team do you support? Are they still in the competition??

Kind of.
I know what you mean, but no - they're not crap.
They are not the best team in the world by any stretch of the imagination - even if they do win the World Cup.
They were written off before and during the WC and have done well to find a way to grind out results and get to the final. So well done to them.
Not the most interesting rugby ever, but they'd be the first to tell you that.
The aim of the World cup is to be the team to win it.
They've done all they can do achieve that.

I think you will find that england should of won by a larger margin if wilko didnt miss so many.
get a grip. each player plays his part, just that some parts tend to have more of an impact and show up more than others.
its like goal scorers and goal keepers in football. anyone who scores a goal get the plaudits and if a goalie saves a penalty they get plaudits.
so shhhhhhhh and wait and see how the final pans out.

england were writen off before and during the world cup, but the sheer guts and determination of the whole squad has seen them to the final, form doesnt matter in a world cup,its all down to who wants it more on the day. win or lose england should get the respect they deserve. and any brit who doesnt support them cannot call themself british. i know i would if thes shoe was on the other foot. you must remember there are 15 players start a rugby match and no team can win with 1 good player.

Absolutely. Its a poor team that relies on penalties to win games, but its also a reflection of a dull sport that this team can get to the final of the world cup.
Apparently legend has it that William Webb Ellis picked up the ball and ran. Not "centered himself" by sticking his **** out, then wellied it over the posts.
Get watching some real rugby - oh sorry the season finished last week at Old Trafford

Jonny is a legend i love him and yes England are crap without him. Lets make Jonny captain for the final. Without him France would have won on Saturday.

It's not just JW that has put them into the final of the WORLD CUP.
You don't reach this stage in a competion of this magnetude with a one man band.
Any Englishman should be proud of the rugby team's achievements in the tournament. They wern't given much hope at the outset and these guys have done really well to get over and above everyone's expectation.
SO STOP KNOCKING THEM AND GIVE THEM THE SUPPORT THEY DESERVE - YOU NUMPTY.
