As an argentine, I'm very proud of our team and what we've achieved, despite the fact we don't play any international competition and some of our players are still amateurs. But I recognize that South Africa was better than us, more professional. If only we could play an international competition, we could improve so much and have a shot at winning a world cup. With the little we have, we did as much as we could. But watching South Africa and England, I realized professionalism is crucial at this stage and that's why both teams totally deserve to be in the final.
I hope the final game will be as close as possible. However, I think it's going to be hard for England, despite the fact that they have the best player in the world (jonny wilkinson). I see the springbocks winning it by a very narrow margin, 3 points difference at most.

I would love Enland to win but being realistic I think it will be South Africa. I think it will be a very close game.

It has been a great tournament so far, and Argentina have proved their worth as a great side. Considering that you do not play in any international competitions, you have achieved a huge amount. I am sure that you will be included soon. If they won't let you in the tri nation with S.A, Aus & NZ, then come and join our 6 nations in the northern hemisphere.
As an English supporter I am thrilled to bits to find England in the final, although they are not as strong as they were 4 years ago. I think they will have a tough job against S. Africa who have played consistently well throughout, and there is the matter of their 36-0 win over England in the early stages.
Whoever wins on Saturday, lets hope it will be a great final....worthy of a fantastic tournmament!

Here here, to the most grown up question i've seen in the Rugby section of late.
I don't think either team are the best in the tournament, but both deserve to be in the finals. NO doubt about it.
England for Bloody minded, hard defending play and SA for flair and talented kicking.
Which ever way it ends it will be close, and has been the most amazing, heart stopping tournament ever! Personally I wanted a Tonga V Argentina final for everything the two teams have achieved against the odds.
To paraphrase and answer your question......
As an Englishman, i'd very much like to see England win (They certainly have the tools to do it) however I think the Springboks will take it. It has been their tournament so far.

I am English and would love England to win, but am afraid they won't. South Africa has the best team in the competition...great pack, very speedy wingmen, talented centres, a great place kicker...and crafty No's 9 and 10...a lot to put up with....but if Jonny is on form we have a chance....I was hoping Argentina would win as I thought it would be a closer final....but I'm afraid South Africa will win...but it has been a great competition.....here's hoping Argentina can join the six nations and play in a Spanish Stadium....or even here in England....would love to see them play more.

I totally agree with you about Argentina - as a SOuth African, I think it would be brilliant to have Argentina in the Tri Nations to make it the 4 Nations. You guys played really well last night, and at the end of the day it really was just down to experience and professionalism that won the game for South Africa.
I think if England want to win, they are going to have to be far more offensive in their defence (if that makes sense?). South Africa are extremely proactive in pushing the opposition back when the opposition has the ball, whereas England will allow them to gain ground by running alongside them before tackling. It's just small things like this that will determine who wins on Saturday.

Your team is not far away from greatness and are a match for anyone.South Africa are a hard solid unit and will probably win the tournament.England will have to play out of their skins to beat the Boks who have the edge from their 36--0 win in the early stages over England in the tournament

Well done to argentina. I agree with you. YOU should be very proud of your players. My household were cheering you on. As an England supporter we never imagined we would be in the final. South Africa are a great team......but England have proved they can pull it together when it counts. It will be a fantastic final whatever the outcome. Come on England!!!

Good on you!!! Argentina were awesome and have done your country and the code of rugby proud!!
After the way this RWC has panned out and all the shock wins & losses.....I've learnt one thing and that's to not even try & predict who is going to win regardless of who the big guns are in each team!
Best of luck to both South Africa & England!

Congratulations on the great question.
You should be rightly proud of your nation. I think they would do well to join the tri-nations tournament for the southern hemisphere teams (Oz, NZ & S.A).
I think they would do ok after a couple of years, and would be strong enough to compete with any team in world rugby.
I'm English, and a believe that England will win by a narrow margin, say 15-12, and will be the worst team ever to win the Webb Elllis.
