Well my mate was rather shocked when i said i was choosing to watch the England match over going out for a meal for his birthday.

Go to the wedding, you will cry less. LOL. Just kidding (sort of). If it was me, Rugby comes first! World Cup only happens every 4 years. Besides, by half time you will know England cannot possibly close the deficit and you can then at least catch the reception (of the wedding). That way, you can do both!

Well I would have been in the church with headphones in my ears tuned into the rugby, but seeing that you support England perhaps you should just skip the rugby, it'll save you some tears.

Is it your wedding? Might be a good idea to turn up for that. If not then I'm sure there will be a nearby ale house you can slope off to by 8 o'clock. They'll all be too drunk to notice your absence
