At the time of the last rugby world cup I seem to remember everyone had flags on their cars. Or am I having a blonde moment?

I hope so - it's good to see folks supporting our team - and we can have all those stories in the paper again about councils banning them on all sorts of dubious grounds; whether they increase petrol consumption and are therefore contributing to global warming etc etc - oh the fun we'll have!

Here in NZ there has been a plethora of All Blacks flags whcih was great to see - although most seem to have come down now :( I did suggest to someone I might put an England flag on my car but it was suggested that I would be seen to be 'crowing' rather than showing my suport for my team and might get my window smashed! - pretty sad really! Maybe i will try and be more discreet about it - red top, blue shoes, whatever....

I took mine down about 30 minutes after the game. Everybody else where I live did the same thing. Once your team is out, it's traditional to remove your flag. *put mine back under bed until the 2012 Euro Cup*

I work for a local authority so would probably be accused of racism and told to remove it if I put one on, despite the fact that I teach English to children who have come to England from other countries, and who ALL want England to win the world cup!

The rest of the world excluding the UK excluding Wales.

no i hate rugby/football ,they all get stupid money and nurses and teachers get nothing. rugby/football players should be on £5 an hour and being they only work one and a half hours a week they should get £7.50 a week.but so long as idiots keep throwing money at them (£40 t-shirt,£20 to watch men kick a ball) then they will continue to spend millions on houses and cars.still i suppose some people think its worth working all week so they can afford to watch a man kick a ball around a field.

Hopefully, it's a harmless way to enjoy the moment and show your support.
