First of all, sorry for the spelling mistake, it should read FLYING SEAMAN! I recently took up hang-gliding and have been having a great time until last weekend when ex Arsenal and England goalkeeper David Seaman joined our club, he took an instant dislike to me and keeps bullying me! Should I join another club or stay and keep out of his way?

I'm posting this here because I'm hoping some outdoorsy guy with the same tastes as my husband will answer...

I want to buy my husband a watch for Christmas, but he's so picky and I don't know what guys really like. O_o
All I know is it should be analogue, and have multiple faces (like, world & 24 hour clocks, etc. within the watch face).
But I know he'd really love one with lots of other gadgets besides. What other gadgets are out there for watches? Are there ones with compasses or GPS features? And where could I find them??
He loves running and cycling, so any with cool features that would be good for outdoorsy-types would be great... He also loves travelling, so anything related to that would be good too...
Gah. U_U If anyone can tell me of a good watch like this, or give a link or a picture, or where to buy one... I would love it so much. U_U

Thank you!!

:)

Have approximately Dec 26th - Jan 2nd and would like to do an outdoor vacation - hiking, snowshoeing, nordic skiing. Would love to go to a National Park or Forest.

Anyone have good references of places to go - or companies that organize winter activities.

What do they call the things that secret agents use with grappling ropes? You know, the ones that they slide along the ropes when they climb up so they can grip? I've seen them used in movies. They use them to grip and climb rope that is too thin to grasp with your hands.
