I am about to undertake the MLTB Mountain Leader award, I have Acheived the BELA award, and would welcome any tips..

Practise your navigation a lot before the actual training.
Practise on different terrain and in different weather conditions.
Practise in dark cnditions too.
You need to be a good all rounder.

Hi, it sounds as if you know your stuff, and I'm sure you plan your routes and check out the weather before heading off. I suppose having the right gear and equipment would be pretty important.
