I am a teen who just joined gymnastics, and i have no experience. I cant even do a cartwheel. I joined a tumbling class to learn how to do cartwheels and backhandsprings and stuff like that. I was just wondering how long it about takes to learn these moves:
-cartwheel, roundoff
-handstand, backwalk over
-backhandspring
-back flips
or anything else...
also if you have any tips or anything...
Thank you!!

hey guys. I am kinda a big dude (17) i am 6 feet tall, wiegh about 189 and can bench press 210. I have a fear though. There is this kid(my age)who wants to fight me. He is about my hieght, mabey an inch shorter at the most. He is skinny but can punch pretty hard. I know he doesn't lift weights. I really don't know why I am afraid but i am. Mabey because he's had more fighitng expierence.
Anyways, i am pretty conifdent in my ability to beat him up, but i just wish i could punch as hard as him. Anyone know any way i can get my punch harder or way to make his punches hurt less? any other advice on how to kick his *** would be appriciated. thanks.

My understanding is that most homes in the US have a firearm of sorts in them. I am just interested in where they are kept in your home. Do you keep them under lock & key, in a safe, a cupboard or under your pillow cowboy style? Do you keep them somewhere that's easily accessible for protection or locked away for when you go hunting or target practice or perhaps both? Curious as to the storage & use of them in your house

I live at a remote military base in Germany and have volunteered to be the cheerleading coach for 2 teams;ages 8-9 and ages 12-15 (this is not competitive cheerleading, by the way) They will be cheering for the basketball teams for their age group.I have never done this before;the only experience that I have is that I used to be a cheerleader in jr. high and high school.I could really use some tips on what to do....or a site that I could go to for coaches? When I was a cheerleader,we went to camp during the summer to learn new cheers/chants/stunts for the year,to add to some old favorites, but these girls will not have that.Any help? And does anyone know how I should begin the first practice? And how often do you think I should have them practice?I don't want to go overboard and piss off the parents;but I want to practice as much as possible so that they don't make themselves look bad out there;any tips would be great...even if you are a young cheerleader yourself....thanks!
