There is no way that a football "yard" is actually 36 inches. Just look at the players foot - it takes up half of the "yard". A player's foot can't be 18 inches long. I just don't believe it. Anyone know for sure?

I decided to get rid of my Taylormade OS for lower trajectory intended irons b/c my flights were too high with OS.

Now King Cobra 2300 Mid Launch and Taylormade LT are my choices. Which is would you go?

Anyone have any of these set and would like to have an input for Playability and trajectory? Thank you

Just last week Stuart Appleby came out and said he thinks Michelle Wie should come back to play the men in a few years when she improves. In previous years golfers were afraid to criticize Wie because no one wants to be seen as an ogre picking on a little girl.
But now with the FedEx Cup, not only is Michelle Wie taking away a spot from a qualified golfer, but also FedEx Cup points. Look at it this way, what if Tiger Woods and Stuart Appleby have a good year but for some reason Woods barely misses the cut for an event, coming right behind Michelle Wie (who would occupy the last available spot).
Let's then say that Tiger loses the FedEx Cup to Appleby by only 2 points. Had Wie not been in the event, Tiger would have won the Cup

I think that alot more golfers are going to become alot more vocal about Wie appearing in PGA events over the coming year. And the sponsors will feel pressure to stop giving her exemptions.

Got a bit of technical problem with my golf swing but not sure of the cause. Would really appreciate some help.

At the moment I'm consistantly fading/slicing the ball, though nearly as often I'm blocking it left instead, especially with an 8 iron upwards. I've had a look at my backswing and its coming back straight, my grip is good. So can anyone suggest I might be able to do to correct this? Thanks.

I just found out the other day that especially hitting off the back tee, if you don't get past the ladies tee, you are supposed to depants and play the hole in your underwears. Has anyone else heard of this and have any funny stories. I cracked up as soon as I heard this myself.

I am part of an on going golf pool that has roughly 50 participants annually. We have been using an Excel spread sheet to track the scoring and to be honest its not the best system.

Does anyone know of any shareware or freeware programs that could help us out?

Each team has 10 players, 7 taken from the money list rankings and 3 open picks. Thanks!

So a guy I casually know asked me if I wanted to go play golf with him next weekend. We've small talked before at friends' parties but I don't know if he's interested in me. Is golfing considered a date? I haven't decided whether to accept. Sorry if this might be considered offtopic but I wondering if other golf guys have considered this. BTW, I do play alittle so it wouldn't be a complete waste of time to be out there.
