Do fans expect too much from what essentially is a mediocre team?

The Premiership consists of too many foreign players, until we start investing in homegrown talent our national teamwill never lift the trophies, even if we think we are great.

My friend (chelsea fan) belives that the penalty shootout between Liverpool and Chelsea for the semi was all luck. Sad to hear, but he somehow belives its luck. The goalies vision to read which way the player is going to shoot and also the quality of the person taking the shot determines the outcome of a shoot out. Thats my opinion, please tell me what you think, if a Penalty shoot out is luck or class

how well known or popular is MLS in the states really?

do you think the arrival of David Beckham to LA Galaxy will increase the popularity of soccer in the US, or do most people not know who he is anyway?

If you were one of those troops that were fighting in Afghanistan or Iraq and you are a huge football(soccer) fan from any team and you had no idea what was going on in the outside world. And you figure out your favorite team has won the premier league after some yrs of waiting. How would u feel?

support a particular team, you know the type, they have a favourite player usually based on his looks, than his ability on the park. and normally they know nothing about the game.
