I'm a milan fan but I don't think they're worthy. If the first shot was seen by the referee as handball, then that could be a draw. And liverpool might lead at the extra time.

People always talk about worthy or unworthy, deserve or undeserve, especially when certain teams win. I don't know why its is like that.

Yes, they got involved in scandal, but UEFA had decided they could join the competition because based on the rule, they didn't have solid reason to ban Milan. Platini himself knew that.

Yes, they didn't show their top-class performance, and they had fewer chances. But if they are unworthy, were Liverpool worthy? They had many chances, but they wasted all but one. Yes, Milan's first goal was a lucky goal, but then Liverpool had so much time and so many chances to get equalizer, and they couldn't make it. What is the ball possession for, if you cannot score goals? So, who were to blame?

Yes, the ref stopped the game 18 secs before the time, but if you watched the game, at the time they were playing and 'fighting' for the ball in the midfield. It didn't seem that 18 secs could change anything. Besides, if Liverpool could score in 18 secs, would they be winner? Mascherano was in the bench already, and nobody seemed to be able to stop Kaka. The ref also let some Liverpool players did harsh tackles.

Just take it and show sportsmanship....

seem @ what Bayern Munich have been waiting to do final summer season signing gamers like Miroslav Klose, Luca Toni and Frank Ribery....and that all of them knew they could be enjoying interior the UEFA cup this previous season. remember the status of the club can dictate in gamers signing for them.....seem @ Juventus, they have been in Serie B final season and finished third this season with a CL spot.... i'm particular AC Milan will bounce back.

well, i think MILAN DESERVED it.

but ya i agree, in the final match only, milan didnt play very well. liv kept more possesion, but their finishing was poor. when u r playing 4 the title 2 b the best in europe, u cant do that! & u can call milan's 1st goal lucky only, but it was NOT a handball, all the commentators said it was the shoulder of inzaghi that turned ball 2wards the goal, so it was a FAIR goal, of course, but lucky i admit. (only english media tried 2 find an xcuse by saiying about hand ball & bla bla blah..)

lets think about the 2nd half liv couldnt score b4 milan evenwhen they were behind!!! a great team who wants 2 b the champ can not do this. so milan scored their 2nd.

& hey didnt u listen that stevie g & benitez both admitted: the best team over the tournament won the cup! b4 the final ferguson & all other football-xperts xpected milan 2 win. & thats wat happened! then i dont get y ppl ask this type of silly questions!!!

i think liv were lucky 2 go this far;u think about this: they won vs chelsea on penalties & defeated barca on away goals. but milan always had an aggregate win. think about how they demolished bayern in munich & epl champ man u at home in the 2nd leg! milan r really an awesome team, u've 2 admit as a footy-fan! may b in the final match, they were not that good, but still good & clinical enough 2 win it! liver pool missed their chances & thats the reason they lost! & utilizing this milan scored 2 goals b4 them. so MILAN r the champions, WORTHY CHAMP!!!

& about the refree: he wasnt partial anyway. the only thing he did wrong is that he finshed the match with 14 seconds left only when milan had the ball, so how can take this as an xcuse??!! remeber wat happened last year's final: when lahman got yellow card & ars conceded 2 goals & lost eventhough they took a lead! u know ref could give him yellow, but red was too harsh when its the final match. & then barca won. then did u guys (like soem here r saying about milan now) kept saying: barca r match-fixers????!!!!

think about the CL final 2 yrs ago: that was even more horrible: milan played so well, they played magical football, but liverpool won on penalties! u c its football & we've 2 take it.

No. I don't think that they were worthy of winning the Champions League. I agree with the rest of what you said, too.
I also agree with Patrick Cool, too.
