I don't know whether Bellamy will follow and personally, don't care. He's not a legend like Ryan Giggs is and I'm not surprised that he has retired. I thought he would've done it when he hit 30. It's a shame he never got to play in a international tournament though.

Ryan is probably tnhe best player in the world not to have played in a major internantional tournament.

It will be a sad day for Welsh Football when he does retire.

Diolch ynFawr am Bopeth Ryan.

I dont think that Bellamy will retire just yet as I thin khe will relish captaining th eWelsh youngsters playing around him.

Noooo, Bellamy is too young to retire International football...He has never played in a Fifa World Cup Finals.

I can't see Bellamy retiring from international games yet but it makes sense for Ryan Giggs to do so, in order to extend his
Man U career, just as Paul Scholes chose to do.

I heard that too, come on Ryan, you've go years left in you.
If he retires now who else from Wales will be in the GB team in 2012, the Scot's have already backed out. Is it going to be only us English? Come on Ryan the Welsh need you, GB needs you.

Does it make a difference? Giggs was never interested in playing for Wales in the past, until it looked like they had a chance of qualifying for a major tournament. Now that's gone he's lost interest again.

No, as I believe Bellamy will be delighted at the chance to captain his country.

I wouldn't have thought so he's younger than Giggs.
