(please don't throw out that i'm posting this in the "wrong section" i've been here long enough to know majority of the threads posted here aren't footie-related)

Okay so i'm pretty sure that most of you guys haven't heard about Jena 6. They are 6 boys fighting for justice in Jena, Louisiana. They've been racially ridiculed and their story is one that reads like back in the Jim Crow era. Black not considered equal to whites? Could it be? A tree reserved for "WHITES ONLY" ? We are in 2000s....right??! .......

Hi, I am starting a football club in my town and all is set except our club nickname. My town have a rich history of being a place for executions so the plan was to nickname our club "Executioners". But because many people were executed here, some shareholders want the club to be called "Phantoms". So should it be "Executioners" or "Phantoms"? Give us your opinion. just been to watch bristol rovers vs leeds, i'm a big leeds fan and i am jumping with joy we are finally into plus points and off the bottom, but although we won 3-0 it was not as convincing as it sounds. rovers were all over us at times and on another day we may have lost that game 4-3. anyone else seen it. what do think of leeds chances for promotion now?
